I have just fired up soulseek and gone blank
Any suggestions for "classic" as in "fucking great" albums would be appreciated.
Nothing too obscure please

edit. I am going with Goldy looking chain and the shins, that will take 40 mins for both so dont want to spread the bandwicth too thinly.

cheers

the shins
chutes too narrow - my least obscure favourite album

edit:

sufjan stevens - seven swans
Elliott smith - figure 8
Extra glenns - Martial arts weekend
Tom waits - swordfish trombones
songs: ohia - Magnolia electric company
love - forever changes

dunno if you consider those obscure. Having no idea what kind of music you like, you may hate my choices.
(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 21:56, archived)
I recognise tom waits but the rest.......................
the Happy Mondays are my favourite ish band, but i have a varied taste, i used to DJ techno as well.

i doubt you'd like my
choices then, but if you're feeling adventurous
(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 22:05, archived)
I will pick one from your list at random and give it a try,
or better still given those choices what would you listen to now?
(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 22:09, archived)
i love them all
bur recently i've been listening to the shins far too much: get that.

there's quite a lot of variety in the list so if you dont like one, you might like another.

love - forever changes is considered a top 10 album ever by most critics so thats definately worth a try too.
(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 22:12, archived)
the shins it is then.

(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 22:14, archived)
a bit too "down" those.

(, Sat 4 Sep 2004, 22:16, archived)
