I think that went far too far.
If people didn't like him they should have just not gone to see him.
He's not my cup of tea, but it spoilt it for the people who may have actually wanted to see him.

Plus being bottled is a Reading tradition, they say so in the programme.
I don't see Daphne and Celeste complaining about their bottling and it never harmed their career.
