Obviously it doesn't. And I'm not condoning it.
But she KNEW they didn't play by her rules, so she should have

But if you follow this particularly shitty line of reasoning, it's where the "innocent mistake" defense becomes relevant. I don't think she was in any doubt that Islamic theocrats are uppity.
