I was in school in America on 11 September.
We turned on the TV, saw the buildings on fire, then my teacher turned it off and said, "Sorry, you have to take this history quiz." Whereas I was freaking out worrying about family.

This is the same teacher who bragged about learning German but still couldn't translate "arbeit macht frei." I, Jewish girl, had to do it for him.

Oh, and I was bowling on my friend's birthday when Diana died.
