strangely I haven't actually been up to Rainier yet, will be going in the next few weeks, whenever we have good weather, and I'm not on call with work. Should be good fun to see up close.

Really enjoyed going to the rainforesty area too - you have to take a ferry to it and its quite a drive but it was really surreal to be in this massive thick forest and think "One of the biggest cities in the world is about an hour away".
