in the course of a justification of atheism
you kind of do, really.
(, Tue 17 Feb 2009, 16:35, archived)
why would you need to justify not believing in something?

(, Tue 17 Feb 2009, 16:38, archived)
you do if you want to convince someone who does believe not to.
but you don't have to do that.

I don't NEED to justify anything
In this case, I would be choosing to.

However, in this case, I didn't justify anything at all. I just made a statement, pointing out a difference between an atheist and a theist, which any fucking fool knows anyway.

Do you know, I'm starting to think that the words I type and see are different from whatever you lot see.
(, Tue 17 Feb 2009, 16:45, archived)
so you don't justify it of your own volition, then?

it's a comparison
it's therefore improved by, well, y'know, having something to compare with.

Jesus, you lot are getting hard work. You're worse than some of my students.
