I've been doing that all day
and it's not helping this time. I've also used honey to no noticable effect

see if your pharmacist has
an anesthetic spray that will go directly to your throat and not in your mouth.

I would see about the emergency doc, if it's not easing off slightly you could end up very sick indeed, and so will the sprogs.

they only make your mouth numb though
they do ease your throat, but only slightly.

I'll need to try and get out tomorrow then
everywhere will be shut now. I have a feeling though that the last time I tried to get some of that stuff for a throat infection I couldn't have it cos of breastfeeding. or maybe I was pregnant. I'll need to check.
