i was still in the research and development stage, so i didn't have a working prototype to base a patent application on. sad times :(

penury by letting it go to court and employing time-wasting tactics so you can't afford to take it further. A patent doesn't protect you from copying, it only allows you to sue someone if you can afford it.
/goddam Sega Saturn and N64 did me out of my great idea :-(

i'd sorted out the electrical side of it (two relays meaning hazards flash faster was the original prototype) but was still working on (and limited by my lack of technical knowledge and resources) the dynamic inertia side of it
