Yet a good dose of brushing and Listerine has worked well for me oftentimes.

But seriously, Chlorhexidine's pretty nasty stuff, and using it too often doesn't help. It stains your teeth and should only be used for a major infection.

A lot of dentists have told me that, because I'm prone to gum infection.

I'm talking about times they've given me antibiotics, too.
