Would it be alright
if I just got married in the registery, jumped over a broom then went to the pub and got pissed?

How about getting pissed,
vomiting on the registrar and then tripping over a broom? :)

Sounds perfect
It's not what you do on the day that's important - it's what you do afterwards.

I know
I wanted to fuck off to Mexico and get married with no-one around - just me & her. Maximum cost - £5K

She was well up for it until her Mum spoke to her and, well, it's the bride's day, isn't it?

And her Dad paid for most of it.
