i want to save by buying in bulk..... and it would be bad to buy a bulk of dvds i cant use...
im not sure of the model. i was hoping there was some way to tell using system info or something.
E:okay i think its "SONY DVD RW DW-D26A"
E2:okay, it looks like it can do both, but what kind of DVDs do i need then.... ive heard that one is cheap and burns slow and one is expensive and burns fast, is this true?

DVD-Rs are more widely supported...
I've always valued www.svp.co.uk/ for media :)

On my computer you do this;
Go to the blue apple in the top left corner. Click on it and select 'About This Mac'. Then chose 'More Info' to get the complete listing of all hardare and firmware and software installed.
