I think having a bunch world leaders so close-by, having been in the room with Tony when the news broke is going to have a different effect
than if they just had to call Mr. Blair on Monday and offer their sympathies. It's just harder for them to distance themselves.

Harder to distance themselves?
Bush looked like he was doing a good job of it in that joint announcement just before. The whole time he looked like he was about to fart but thinking "Mustn't fart on TV, mustn't fart on TV" rather than "Remember - look stern yet appropriately sorrowful."

I meant it'd be harder for the other nations to distance themselves enough to not be dragged into the "war on terror" or say securing Iraq so Coallition toops are free to sack Iran.
