Basically, my friend/supervisor made us both employment references to prove we were employed to get a new flat
and blah blah blah, turns out he faked the signatures of the MD, they found out, pinned a load of shit on us both and sacked us both for gross misconduct & fraud.

the faked signature was enough
you could have been arrested for that you know. (if they could have proved you knew)
