As I've said elsewhere,
that wasn't the reason (for me at least) to be opposed to the war in the first place, but it is part of the mess we've made.
Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism when we went in, now it has everything.
I heard some right-wing tosser say "that's it, we've created a front to fight them on," which is all very clever if you don't live there
