Why not? It doesn't make a difference where your money goes or what they do with your money.
It is a fair business exchange from two consenting adults. Whats the problem?

oh right, fair enough. Just buy from 'repuatable' sellers- if they've sold a lot and have a high rating, its not a problem.
My friend does ebay selling full time (even owns a shop for it), everything she sells is legit and she makes a wedge from it. All above board and all that.

plus, paypal are pretty decent at refunding your money if you get ripped off.
