Mhm, fired designer, more like.

National coverage in the paper for free.
Raise and a new car for the designer.
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 8:41, archived)
Yes, that's true.
I hadn't thought of it like that.
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 8:42, archived)
I liked the you've been tangoed adverts that got banned.

(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 8:46, archived)
It seems school was more fun years ago.
I'm sure they'd ban pogs these days, in case a kid threw a slammer at someone's precious Tarquin.

pogs got banned while i was at school

(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 9:03, archived)
Really?
Oh. Maybe I had a liberal-minded school, I don't remember them being banned.

My point stands: Why can't kids beat each other senseless with ill-advised toys and excuses from TV these days?
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 9:05, archived)
they were banned because fights were erupting
i was fucking brilliant at pogs
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 9:08, archived)
Conkers being banned is madness.
And something that makes me angry.
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 9:11, archived)
That's crap
Pogs are ace.

This^^
is true. Remember the Asda 'Microsoft' bras. So much publicity for so little money.
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 8:51, archived)
Link, please?
Google doesn't like me.
(, Thu 25 Jun 2009, 8:58, archived)
The Asda/Microsoft spat is difficult to find.
But Asda advertised a range of lingerie made from a type of material they decided to call 'Microsoft Fibre', in the knowledge that Microsoft wouldn't be able to resist making a fuss.

It was all over the papers for a few days. Publicity worth, well, perhaps not 'millions' but a lot.
