I second this.
I also tend to not stay on any site that doesnt have a white background for much more than a few minutes.
To me it doesn't look professional. It looks like a childs photogallery hosted on Moonfruit.

But I have already made some "Pro" looking sites for my profile and thought I try something Grungy/gamey.

Quality.
I mean I didn't mean to sound harsh. It looks great but then so does the BBC News site and I spend atleast an hour a day reading from it. I cannot honistly say I would like reading from said design.
