It's very nice

with magnets

(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:47, archived)
don't know,
but that looks like it'll take a horrible amount of time to load
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:46, archived)
tis only 247 kb
And it's the broadyband section of the site
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:47, archived)
very nice then

(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:51, archived)
Nice work,
personally I muchly prefer nav bars on the left hand side though.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:47, archived)
Ye me too....
Just i used the burn tool (to make the pipes look like they went into the background) directly on the bottom layer... like a complete fool... so now I can't move it around unless i cover it with something

Can you not use the history? (assuming it is PS?)
Otherwise get in the practice of saving every 10 minutes as a new file name.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:52, archived)
Yes I use PS
But I did it last night at like 12:00 and was tired so didn't see what I had done, saved it and now its stuck... I'll work it out some how, probably using the dodge tool and 1600% zoom :(

As much as it seems a pain in the arse its the punishment for forgetting.
You wont forget again.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:57, archived)
Arf
Or I throw a wobbly and go to bed.. that is my usual action when i cock up :)
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:59, archived)
Will you be fwaping it all better in bed?

(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:02, archived)
Wouldn't you like to know,,
and yes
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:04, archived)
Phwoar!
Got a webcam?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:07, archived)
I did
But it got some salty substance in it... Can't for the life of me tell what it is.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:08, archived)
Taste it and report back.

(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:11, archived)
*gets electric shock*
hmm, tastes a bit like man mayonaise
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:16, archived)
Nice.
So what did you go at college?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:19, archived)
Flunked
Bio, Chem, Physics, Maths... lol

I've had photoshop for about 2 months now and I'm all self taught
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:25, archived)
I second this.
I also tend to not stay on any site that doesnt have a white background for much more than a few minutes.
To me it doesn't look professional. It looks like a childs photogallery hosted on Moonfruit.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:50, archived)
I agree with this
But I have already made some "Pro" looking sites for my profile and thought I try something Grungy/gamey.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:57, archived)
Quality.
I mean I didn't mean to sound harsh. It looks great but then so does the BBC News site and I spend atleast an hour a day reading from it. I cannot honistly say I would like reading from said design.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:00, archived)
ver' ver' nice
I did a flash heavy thing for a media A level (pffft) and was told off for not making a site viewable to people on dial up

I told him to fuck off, as no one uses 33.6 anymore

I got a U
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:48, archived)
It is certainly pretty
what are you intending to use it for? Has a game kind of feel at the moment.

Are the displays going be flash animated so that they vhange when you move the mouse around that would be good.

Criticism? Not instantly obvious where you would start.

Hope this helps, keep at it.

Well having just left College
and having too much time on my hands till I go to uni, I'm going to do a bit of graphic design and computer building and this is a bit of a portfolio piece. On another note if anyone wants me to design graphics for their site gimme a bell (ill do them for nought if im allowed to use them in my portfolio!)
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:53, archived)
nice enuff I s'pose
but you won't be able to fit much content on a page.

less is more when it comes to nav, etc, imo.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 0:04, archived)
When has the internet
ever been about content? :P
