Really? Were you living together?
Living together and breaking up is the worst.

On the plus side - Bruno is out soon

Technically no
But he does have clothes and a few other bits here. Hopefully that's not going to be an issue, if he stops being an arse when he wakes up tomorrow!
He's a strange one, one minute he wants to move in, the next he's got annoyed about something or other and wants to let me know what a crap girlfriend I am while telling me I'll lose him if I don't improve...

It sounds like you need to call his bluff and tell him to go fuck himself with that shit.

He used to be such a happy chappy though
And I try to restore that status, but invariably fail as I can't make his shit job better, or improve his money situation *sigh*

You can't make him happy if he's miserable like that.
He's just going to end up making you miserable. He sounds like a right moody tosser, to be honest.

This
I mean, try talking to him, tell him that's it not your fault and you're not going to take shit like that from him (if you really won't, it's your choice).

If he gives you a load of hell and dumps you, then better off without him.

Humm
I have considered this, but I haven't really got the guts to do it. I'd probably just burst into tears, not want to say anything else, and wind him up. I do cry annoyingly easily (so I'm confused as to why I haven't even come close tonight)
(, Thu 2 Jul 2009, 4:08, archived)
I tend to cry too
You could not be crying for a few reasons:

1) You're not upset because it's not as bad as it seems

2) The idea of breaking up with him isn't that bad

3) You're numb.

I'd guess 1. It's late, he's not responding so it'll seem worse, and nobody likes fighting. Just see how it goes tomorrow :)

And on that note, I'm off to bed. My other half is blind drunk and I fear that he may fall over unless I tuck him in! Oh joy.

Good luck :)

Cheers
And good luck to you! G'night

sounds like you need to do the breaking up
otherwise, have fun accepting the emotional abuse.

This.

oww :(
Wasn't expecting any advice at all I must admit, this has taken me slightly aback...
(, Thu 2 Jul 2009, 4:03, archived)
Then darlin, LEAVE HIM
Any cunt that's slowly eating away at self-esteem like that isn't worth it.
(, Thu 2 Jul 2009, 3:56, archived)
:(
It's a recent thing though, I was hoping I could make his life better and as a result mine...
(, Thu 2 Jul 2009, 3:59, archived)
He's asking you to 'improve'? At what? Why should you have to improve?
I wouldn't have the patience for that kind of shite.
(, Thu 2 Jul 2009, 4:01, archived)
At being a girlfriend in general I think...
*shrug*
I do love him, he says he loves me, and it's not all bad - though more so since he started this shitty dead-end job.
I haven't really got anyone else either if I'm honest... Hence talking to b3ta *blushes*

Mate
If you think it will improve, then give it a go. Don't wait too long though. You can make friends. You can't easily recover from emotional abuse.

Thanks dude/dudette
For all of your useful posts, good advice...
First thing is to see what he says tomorrow, if it's on I'm gonna see how it goes, talk to him if he keeps being a tit. If it's off, I've wasted everyone's time :( lol

I can hear birds and my house looks less dark, so given that I have to get up at 7 I think I might crawl back into bed and see if I can catch some sleeps. Thanks everyone for not flaming me for being a loser! :D
