My lovely other half went and sat on his glasses.
I'm considering whether or not I should help him buy a new pair, given a pair costs £300 a time.

300 quid?
can he not make do with a pair from the pound shop?

As funny as it would be for him to walk into walls
unfortunately he has a degenerative eye condition and as a result he's incredibly difficult to fix. Not that he helps himself, I might add, not sending away his contact lenses for new ones to be made. And he has a silicon allergy, it look them two pairs of contacts for them to figure that out.

Argh.

I'm currently on a test trial to use contact lenses
So far the daily disposables were no good for my eyes. They were also gonna cost me £46 for 30 pairs which was extortionate, although its because I have an eyeball with a fucked up shape.
I'm about to start the trial of fortnightly disposables....

Monthly torics, thats the way forward.
That said i went back to them after using glasses for ages and hated them.

Glasses FTW.
