the bands representatives have asked for the libel to be removed and I have to comply because otherwise I might as well be making these accusations myself, loudly, out side their office whilst masturbating.
Removing it on request is called post moderation and isn't really enshrined in law but being seen to do the obviously right thing will both likely calm down the laywers and could be part of a strong defence should the legal threats be taken to court.
But mostly I just want this to go away - I'm literally trying to work on another job and sitting here and hand editing peoples posts is using my time that I actually need for other things.
