I still haven't quite got over them
Were you there that year then? Yay, did you see Hexstatic too? Chris and I were at the back watching and there was this special needs guy shouting "come on" all the way through and doing some mental dancing which was possibly even funnier than Bert & Ernie v Ante Up

We were...We did!
We missed the special needs guy though...:-(
It was the first time I had seen Orbital for years and I was both taken aback at how old they looked and how fucking AMAZING they still were. I nearly cried.

I cried LOADS that weekend
I sprained my ankle and was laughing through shock, then my brother turned up and gave me tea and I was so happy I cried. I then alternated between tears and joy for the rest of that evening. All hippy style "it's so beauuuuuuuutiful" though.

Chris Cunningham. Fucking hell.

I can't go and watch them any more, they turned into a novelty act with that stupid Dr Who thing
JUST SHUT UP AND DO CHIME AND IMPACT YOU BALDY TWATS

They played Halcyon and it was perfect
It was the only time I've ever seen them though. So yeah.

HA!
I know I'm with you. I hate novelty covers. I saw them do there 'last ever set' at Glastonbury and why they ever do that track I will never know. It's shit.

But still
it's Orbital. They can be forgiven anything.

I'm glad it's not just me.
the first time I saw them was before In Sides came out, with Plaid and μ-ziq supporting and it was fucking excellent, and they were fucking excellent every time I saw them after that until The Altogether came out and bloody Dr Who. The Belinda Carlisle thing was OK to start with but that went on too long too.

I think I first saw them
in 1991. Have lost count of the number of times..They used to DJ with the Drum club, who I loved, and I went to the Megadog nights every chance I had. Oh happy days..
