Then stop being a nobend.
The answers to your questions are available within as a construct within a non-consensus reality. Basically that construct allows you to suspend your sense of disbelief and make sense of the idea of zombification.
Or you know, you could just understand that it's MADE-UP, NOT REAL, AND DOES NOT NEED TO MAKE PERFECT SCIENTIFIC SENSE.
I bet you are the kind of cunt that watches Star Wars and says things like '*sharp nasal inhalation' You know, the spaceship wouldn't make a noise when it exploded and you wouldn't hear the Tie-Fighters because space is a vacumnn blah blah blah'.
You cunt.

I read a really interesting book called "The Science of Star Wars" once.
It didn't just say "that wouldn't happen" but it explained how it could happen if x, y and z.
The bit on Robots I found very interesting though it was written when bipedal robots were only just being realised so it's a little out of date now.

it wasn't awful
I mean, I thought the program itself was awful, when the mental guy was handcuffed on the roof top he could have so so easily reached the toolbag with his foot....
but the zombies just didn't seem as well thought through as they could have been. Obviously you have to accept plenty of things to deal with zombies at all, just didn't sit right with me.
I just don't really go for that sort of stuff though, not going to keep me up all night worrying.

You see, I like the TV series...
but I agree - the comic is absolutely fucking brilliant.

Personally I enjoyed the first couple of episodes.
but the last few were, in my opinion, awful.

oh yeah, just remembered them. the underground bunker and all that shit.
that was attrocious. I think that might have made sense if it was over an additional 5 episodes, but it was just shite.

It's like they started with the start of the comics and slowly started replacing the writers for the tv scripts with people who'd never even heard of a zombie.

I don't *think* he ever tried. I think he tried with his hand, but never his foot.

I don't quite remember but don't you see him get the bag and then try to saw through the handcuffs with the saw from the bag?

Yes, he couldn't reach the key and ended up cutting his hand off.

The pipe would've been too big for a little hacksaw anyway, but the bolt that he was cuffed to would've probably almost snapped off with a sharp tug.
but hey it's tv.

well there you go... it's only TV so who cares...
sounds a lot like lots of kids TV. Kids TV can be awesome and so clever, and so many kids pick up on it.

I recall seeing him reaching with his hand and being about 2 foot short.
