I guess if their objective is to find which group of university students are more capable of answering questions in this format it wouldn't make much sense to include people who aren't university students

the television quiz format has always tolerated segregation and exclusion - the generation game, mr & mrs, busman's holiday, to name but a few
I'm not saying it's right, but it's unfair to single out university challenge
