I woke up this morning at a very low ebb
the day has improved by small steps.

I have kendo tonight so that will probably improve my mood.

it's true.
It wasn't much use yesterday, everyone at the dojo was a wet lettuce, I was interrupted mid exercise for someone to ask if they could take the helmet off and get some water... I went pretty mad about that, he could have waited 20 seconds for me to finish my practice.

Nowadays I have to write reports on safety and safeguarding within my dojo
and go to professional development courses on coaching.

Kendo sticks are pretty blunt.
Not sure anyone would stay still for long enough to be cut in half.
