I was going to nominate Dolph Lundgren's He-Man film,
but then I remembered that it is brilliant, and so doesn't qualify.

First thing I went to see without my parents was Twins.
First thing ever might have been E.T. as I made my dad take me home before the end (it is a truly dull film). I watched Batman and He-Man at a Butlins, which may have been the highlight of that holiday (close second would have been the presence of a TMNT arcade game).

I went with my dad and uncle somewhere in Liverpool but i was only 6 so I remember very little.
After seeing the film though I was obsessed with He Man, my aunty had heard that "He Man" and "Skeletor" were opening a new shop in Widnes so took me when I was still about 6, apparently two of the shittest characters dressed as the aforementioned arrived and I spent the next 30 minutes cowering under a bench in the high street too scared to come out and see them.

People in costumes scared the crap out of me, too, when I was a child.
