Not seen those, although I have enjoyed a guilty chuckle at some of the later Beethoven installments.
First one's a bit iffy, though, as I'm not sure that attempted rape belongs in a family film.

I've also caught myself enjoying the Chipmunk films, to my eternal shame.

So I found the subtext of the plot very difficult to follow
