good Chinese takeaways are few and far between in my experience
London's got some fantastic Chinese restaurants, and advent of Deliveroo/Uber Eats means you can get it at home but your bog standard 'high street' style takeaways seem to be, for the most part, a load of shit

There used to be a place here called Ken's Wingloon House,

When we lived in Hilsea
There were two Chinese takeaway's next to each other. One was quite a bit better than the other, but the other one was owned by one of Mrs Hats' financial advisor clients, so he would always give us free stuff. So really, the decision came down to how close to payday we were at the time
