A 4k movie on SkyQ typically uses about 16gb of data
whereas a 4k disc uses around 80gb. The difference in picture quality is like chalk and cheese. Streaming is not a patch on having the disc.

If you're obsessing over pixels then the story's shit

No I'm not.
For example, Saving Private Ryan is a brilliant film but when you watch it on 4k disc it's like a completely different movie. It still has grain but it's like being there.

What does it cost the Earth to stream tv and movies?
I imagine maintaining 'the cloud' is less energy efficient than producing and transporting DVDs. It probably produces more waste heat too, since it has to be on all the time, while I can just leave a DVD in a box.
