My parcel ordered two weeks ago is still being delayed by brexit
I think it has to pass through every country in the EU before returning to the UK, or something

I'm having nightmares work-wise with stuff coming from or going to the EU
it's fucking awful

Do goods coming from outside the EU have all this fuss anyway, or is the UK getting special treatment

yes they do, but it's all long-established so the wheels turn more easily
But at the moment getting containers out of the Far East is also totally fucked: prices have trebled if you can even get one at all. I've got a load of stuff stuck in Thailand at the moment waiting for the situation to improve: it's been ready to leave for weeks already. The world's fucked right now

I bet the thais love having their docks full of containers that can't go anywhere
brexit (plus I guess covid worker absences) making trouble for every country not just us
Still, let's think of it as a transition phase, optimists will tell you these are just initial wrinkles to be ironed out

we're having to get stuff in through weird ports like Liverpool rather than nearer ones like Felixtowe and Tilbury

Looking forward to all prices going up even more to pay for those extra miles

Tim martin reckoned brexit was going to be great for everyone, and covid was a big fuss about nothing
I wonder what his opinions are on climate change and sustainable energy sources
