just enough water to cover it by half a centimetre, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 4 tablespoons of chinese vinegar and a tablespoon of chilli sauce, habanero in my case. bring to the boil, then simmer.once simmering, add 2 tablespoons of palm sugar and reduce heat. stir occasionally and cook until the liquid is reduced to a glaze and serve with garlic rice. will be making it again.
