SpaceX kind of rocks
and I used to be a Musk defender in the early days, but as he revealed more of his politics and personality I've drifted into the 'Elon is a complete twat' camp.

The anti-union rhetoric and actions, the workplace racism, the twitter acquisition and insanity that followed, the dishonesty, the paranoid conspiracy bullshit, his support of the great replacement theory and other racist tropes on twitter, cybertruck, the hyperloop not-a-train, the fake robot company, the cynicism, the lies, the needy narcissism, the preference for mean politics over his own trans kid, the hypocrisy over free speech, Don Lemon, blocking people for teasing him over his hair plugs...

The pragmatist in me will still support the goal of settling the solar system, but I'll celebrate when Musk is gone. What SpaceX has done to the space launch industry is positive, and was utterly necessary, but Musk's plan to have Starship compete with the airlines is doomed to failure for a variety of staggeringly obvious reasons, and his goal of filling the sky with constant rocket launches would create an ecological disaster.

It's okay because nobody can see my replies to Bou.
I estimate about 1000 tadpoles remaining. The foxes appear to be leaving the frogs alone, which is good.

Very far from boring
Unlike you.

I remember him.
He was a nice boy.
I haven't really kept up to date with his shenanigans. I'm on X but I don't use it much. Most of the time my head is in the sand.

I suffer from severe depression
So I'm mostly cut off from everything

Don't forget torturing a bunch of monkeys to death!

What?

The Neuralink thing...
Grim reading...
www.wired.com/story/elon-musk-pcrm-neuralink-monkey-deaths/

I'm a bit torn about the whole Neurolink thing. It has real life-changing medical applications for quadriplegic people, but I get the impression Musk has chosen quadriplegic people to test it on because he considers them more expendable than able bodied test subjects in the same way he alleges Neuralink chose monkeys who were 'close to death' to experiment on.

There's also the whole Space Nazi supermen but don't mention eugenics thing. SMN did a good video on it... Elon Musk's "Hitler Problem"

I am against any kind of animal testing for any reason
I can't read that
It will probably destroy me

Fuck neuralink too then!
Why should animals have to suffer endlessly for humans? Fuck that!!!!!!

If it's vital research and the ends justify the means, I'm broadly supportive...
If the goal is unethical (chasing a profitable way to exploit people or the environment), fuck that.

I'm sorry brb, I must disagree with you here
Causing suffering is never justified
There must be better ways

Nature causes suffering. Scientific/medical inaction causes suffering.
