He tries to be a bully
but fails miserably on account of the paranoid delusions (largely resulting from his drug abuse), the poor command of reason and logic as evidenced by his weak defence of racism, his stunted rhetorical style (or less charitably, his stunted intellect), and his shallow Buddhist affect.

It's for those reasons that I found it odd to learn you'd discovered he was a woke woman who works as a cognitive behavioural therapist.

I would be more impressed by something more impressive, yes.
I think I understand what you mean though, and my answer is 'kind of.'

E.g. Enoch Powell's flowery intellectual defence of racism and British exceptionalism is more impressive than Tommy Robinson's monosyllabic approach. Kind of.
