we've tucked either end under the bar. Cat's don't like to step on sticky surfaces so she jumped up, put one paw on it and recoiled in horror.

Sort ... of ... stuck it to the shelf the soundbar is on
between the foot things of the soundbar and the shelf. The cat refused to get stuck to to the tape which is how it does the cat deterring thing.
