Brother in law is starting to become difficult to handle
he was going for treatment and just walked into the road, unaware of the traffic, oblivious to what was going on and angry when challenged. This means they can't travel by public transport any longer. He's on steroids again which is really difficult - it will mean the brain tumour grows faster but stops the seizures. A side effect is that he doesn't sleep much though. We're into the palliative care bit now.

Fuck this is grim.

I have asked my sister to let me know when they next go to the hospital
and I'll drive them. It's not fun going into central London but it's either me or a taxi and I'd rather do it if they'll let me.

Yeah, I'm no fan of London traffic
But a lift off family is better than a cab any day

I don't actually mind driving in London
It's not my top idea for fun, but it's not a big deal.

Does anyone have any funny responses to this, please? It's bringing my Monday morning down.

It's absolutely shit
so it is.

I'm trying to arrange for a bit of a family get-together over Easter to raise spirits.

Yep. I'm driving them into town next week
I suspect it may be a very depressing journey as they may be getting ther results of a scan, but I'm glad I'll be able to help.
