When I worked in Richer Sounds we had an endless demand for "Technics an' Jammo innit"
but we managed to flog them an amp as well so we made a bit of commission. The 1210s were £349 each in the late 90s and we made barely any profit on the bastards. Given the weight of them they really were a loss leader, but the mixers had a bit more margin and the amps could make a few quid.

I pitied all the neighbours tho...

My 1200s are as good today as the day I bought them
The lights are bust, that's it. I had them serviced in about 2005 for a few hundred quid. They're probably worth about what I paid for them. Not bad really

I can fix the lights. Unfortunately house is for sale now, so I'll be off Christmas time
