Today I learned that Billy Joel's daughter once tried to stop it all by overdosing on homeopathic medicine.
'An NYU Medical Center toxicologist said the drug has "no active ingredient" and indicated that it was essentially impossible to overdose ("basically you'd be taking more of nothing").'

I only ever dispensed one prescription for a homeopathic product when I thought "you know, this is arguably justifiable".
Young-ish woman getting a very nasty cocktail of psychiatric drugs (antipsychotics, anxiolytics, anti-epileptics) and among the 12 drugs was some homeopathic nonsense with directions to take when required for anxiety. I know it's a placebo, the prescribing doctor knows it's a placebo, hell even the patient probably knows it's a placebo. But it's not going to do any harm and maybe it made her feel better.

So that's once in my 28 years of being a pharmacist, under homeopathic principles that probably counts as very potent evidence.
