I took 30mg of mirtazapine
25mg of amitriptyline and 7.5mg of zopiclone.
Managed 2 and a half hours of sleep.

Sounds like medications aren't working for you. If you think it's due to depression then look into psychological therapies (I guess you could consider discussing an increase in Mirtazapine to 45mg).
Ensure you're following good sleep hygeine recommendations:

Otherwise consider some sort of sleep therapy / cbt

I was on 12.5mg slow release Stilnox which is zopiclone
Made my weird behaviour even worse
Doing weird things after taking it at night and not going to sleep straight away
Chopped all my hair off in the middle of the night and tried to shave it bald with a razor. Went to work the next day with a headscarf because my hair looked like the rats had had a go at it. My colleague took me across the road to the barber so I told him to shave my head.
When I went to the psychiatric hospital shortly after, they got me off Stilnox (horrible stuff) and gave me Quetiapine instead. (Seroquel)
It really zonks you out.
Much better than zopiclone.
