While we dont all agree
I think there is a pretty widespread musical appreciation on here so:
Great guitar instrumentals, any you would like to share? while I don't play any instrument I really appreciate the skill of someone playing well so I like Dave Evans Stagefright saw it on the bbc 4 programme a while back.

Alt I also like the Mason Williams classical gas, Am I really shit?

Altalt, favourite thing on your desk (or dashboard if you are a van dweller) mine is my coffee pot

(, Wed 26 Nov 2014, 11:28, Reply)

Chuck shuldiner is probably the top of the heap for death/black metal.
Did some incredible stuff, inspired most modern heavy metal.
And the guys from bands like emperor and Satyricon, what they did in the early days with tone and just pure noise generation is interesting.
For pure guitar skill I'm with beefo on hendrix being one of the most interesting guitar players ever.

Alt: nah, just a bit shit.

Altalt: my welding glasses that I use as sunglasses because I'm too cheep to buy a second set of sunglasses just for the van.
