# the shark is from
the National Geographic and a famost wildlife photographer took the picture - nothing to do with mimi or meme.

The fear or nohands arn't really memes at all. Memes are cultural genes - e.g. aspects of society that are the building blocks of it.

so both wrong really as nohands & the shark helecopter can only be descibed as memes in a b3ta sense not strictly anything more.

#
"A meme is a unit of information in a mind whose existence influences events
such that more copies of itself get created in other minds."
So really memes are both carriers of information and creators of behaviour.

# ok thats closer
but i'm still right that these meems are not true meems as they are only in the b3ta world as it were.

(and strictly speaking they arn't at all by that definition)

# Yeah I was quoting that from a memetics website
but they also said there was no absolute definition of a meme so it depends how you see it.

# So really
Glasscocks and mind piss are examples of memes in action..?

# Would I be massively incorrect to reduce that to
"monkey-see, monkey-do"?
I like the looks of that, I'll do the same, or tell everyone about it, etc.
Like Flock of Seagulls haircuts.
[edit] Or no-hands shops.
