# and if they can't...
Labour and Lib Dem put together still don't make for a majority.
So they'd better sort something out.

# The television told me that the Conservatives and Ulster would have enough seats for overall majority.
But that was working with the exit poll. I'm not even entirely sure who Ulster are.

# Now *that* would be bullshit
I'm no raving patriotic loony, but the Tories having a majority on the basis of the support of some barely-elected Norn Irelander makes absolutely no sense.

# and there still aren't enough seats in the whole of Northern Ireland,
Unionist or otherwise, to make up a majority with the Conservatives.

# I think the poll said the conservatives would get 306ish and that Ulster would have 20ish.
I don't know. I might have imagined the whole thing.

# There are only 18 seats in Northern Ireland.

# The television lied to me :(

# well according to this, anyway

# It was a prediction and heresay I think.
The Conservatives were scouting for potential aid in a minority government situation.. or just any allies so they wouldn't have to deal with the Lib Dems. Little did they expect a non sectarian party to win a seat.

# Prediction and heresay aside,
they couldn't possibly win 20 seats because there are only 18 seats.

# I won 15 seats in a raffle once.
It's possible.

# as long as there were only 13 seats to be won
you could be on to something. call cameron and tell him you've solved it. with that kind of a scoop you could get on the board of directors for newscorp or something.

# It was DUP.
They traditionally side with the Tories in votes but with the actual result it's not enough.
