but you've been given faulty advice:

Post daily, and make sure your strips are all linked in an ongoing story arc that will make no sense to the casual reader. Avoid jokes and punchlines like the plague. Draw scantily-clad cat/woman hybrid things instead of proper characters and then use b3ta to hawk your drawings on ebay.

That's the way to become popular on here.
