
his accent did sound a bit Irish at times, but then people of that time were all mixed up from all over the country and he had just spent 10 years on the Crusades with celts, picts and english of all varieties, so I'm happy to defend it.
the film is a cross between Gladiator and Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail, but is nice n pithy and some good historical references.
It's not like any other Robin hood type film I've seen before. It's kind a of a prequel to the traditional Robin hood
ironically I also saw Cop Out afterwards, and there is a teddy bear in it just like that one.

as part of the film is about him learning/remembering where he came from and he'd been in the army for years his mixed up accent makes sense, but it is irritating for the first hour and a half
the history is a little messed up in terms of chronology but on the whole I really enjoyed it, and I'm a Nottingham lad
