# saw it last night - thoroughly enjoyed it
his accent did sound a bit Irish at times, but then people of that time were all mixed up from all over the country and he had just spent 10 years on the Crusades with celts, picts and english of all varieties, so I'm happy to defend it.

the film is a cross between Gladiator and Monty Python's Search for the Holy Grail, but is nice n pithy and some good historical references.

It's not like any other Robin hood type film I've seen before. It's kind a of a prequel to the traditional Robin hood

ironically I also saw Cop Out afterwards, and there is a teddy bear in it just like that one.

# /\ this
as part of the film is about him learning/remembering where he came from and he'd been in the army for years his mixed up accent makes sense, but it is irritating for the first hour and a half

the history is a little messed up in terms of chronology but on the whole I really enjoyed it, and I'm a Nottingham lad

# I bloody loved it and didn't care about the history
Who says films have to be Historically accurate?

(I think there should have been a Death Star in there somewhere)

My favourite bit of Robin Hood was the credits. But that's because my best friend worked on the film :OD

But I enjoyed it too. As long as you're not expecting Prince of Thieves then you'll have a good time.

# its actually pretty funny in places
like POT, they've ripped off Rickman for the Sheriff, and the lion in Disney's for King John
