on a flimsy moral stance against their slash and burn sporting policy, that ultimately heralded an era in football where it was seen to be appropriate to allow my football club to be franchised out to a different town because we weren't popular enough.

but to be honest, virgin aren't really any better. once an affordable and reliable freeview HD box comes out that i can record tv progs on like the virgin box, then i'm out of here.

and while waiting for Mrs S to do whatever the fuck she was doing, I stood with a load of other blokes watching the last ten minutes of the Milwall/Swindon play-off making grunting noises along with the rest of them.

A few minutes later, Mrs S taps me on the shoulder and said 'Oh come on, you haven't got a clue what's going on with the football anyway'

I had to agree and sloped away

if you try to record too many things at the same time, it scans the programme guide and informs you that the same program is repeated later in the week or on a +1 channel later and do I want to record that instead!
