my stepson was in a pubsome bloke called him ginger twat, and stupidly he replied he was wasn't ginger but 'strawberry blonde'. so the bloke called him a ginger gay twat.

hahamy ladyfriend goes really quite batshit angry if someone calls her ginger. "red" is apparently the correct term. "ginger" is a word that can only be used by red-haired people when talking to each other.
