Go to an aquarium and get a couple of things of tapsafe.That'll probably cost less than a hose, and you can just fill the bin up several times and dump it in.

In hot sunny weather my pond loses @ 2" per weekIf you do use tap water, fill it slowley over several days, as the sudden temperature difference can kill the tadpoles
