"promote" isn't the word I'd useThey very likely know they're as much a target for the cynical satirists of b3ta as anyone. Smart bunch, b3tans, they can see through a fair amount of corporate BS.
If Rob can make a few quid off them, then I say go for it. It's his site, he has bills to pay, and this site has given me plenty of fun for minimal cost (apart from the wasted years... sigh).
