I found my models the other day
the standard of painting was not quite what i remembered it being. Never played with the things, just loved the dreadnoughts etc. Awesome little models.

I use PP's Khador Red for my Blood Angels. It's far richer.

Hmm, thinking about it, i used to use one of the standard reds as BAR was a bit too orange for the armour
and the BAR was used for highlighting the edges (mixed with a little yellow).

If you used it over white,
and shaded it with red and chestnut inks it looked good.
