ActuallyIn those days, the date for Easter shifted by up to 3 months each year. Also, the date of the winter solstice changed by several weeks due to astronomical shift and the changeover between Gregorian and Julian calendars. And when you factor in rogue wikipedia editors and the great "When was Jesus actually born?" argument, this is actually quite possible.
