# to create it from scratch with vectors would take one hell of a lot of time and skill
and I think Zombie Mr Men have been done by someone else, sounds familiar

# But then is that skill
just proficiency in using the software? I cannot work out what you're getting at. Or is it that there was no joke?

# I'm guessing just an inherent dislike of Poser.

# you know what..
my advice is don't fucking listen to them.
do what you like, post and say what you like and be damned or praised with it.

but then again that's just me and my pychosis talking.

# or people could listen to constructive criticism, weigh up the options and go from there.
It's often a very damaging thing only believing in yourself and ignoring what others say. Some people are trying to help when they say stuff, and you could find shortcuts and other advantages in what they are offering.

# aye that's right..

# Poser/Daz to me is a good start point for artists who don't have a life model at their disposal.
But I find their 3d meshes instantly recognisable in a negative way, so people who use them without much alteration produce very similar pictures.
Just posing the mesh to me is like someone arranging clip art in vector package, not creating it.
I know a lot of studios wouldn't look twice at this sort of thing, so I don't recommend people use it as a rule to help them wander in the right direction. Plus its got the stigma of being mainly used for crap porn :D

# Nothing wrong with crap porn
It's not just the posing. Getting the lighting and bumpmaps looking good is proving a fucking nightmare and it shows.

But I'm still learning, and my aim to create this quality of stuff. As you see, posing is just a small part of the creativity.

# I'd set your sights higher to be honest.
